Immigration in the movies

Hot Air does a review of "Border War" -- a new documentary. This is the first time I hear about it, so I'll have to do some research before I give my opinion on it.

You can check out the documentary's web site here. Human Events had this to say:

Citizen United President David Bossie said the concept behind “Border War: The Battle Over Illegal Immigration” first came to him last September as the group considered its next major project. It just so happened that in the course of the past year, illegal immigration has skyrocketed to one of the top political issues in Washington and across the country, especially among conservatives.

“I’m hoping our film really will create a discussion of the issues and give people a viewpoint of what really is going on at the border and how illegal immigration impacts the American people—from Teri March, the widow of the L.A. County sheriff’s deputy, to Congressman J.D. Hayworth, who is frustrated trying to put immigration reform on the agenda in Washington,” Bossie said.

Considering this is a key issue, this should be a movie worth watching--regardless of where you stand on the issue.
